Following the European Commission blueprint for raising industry’s contribution to EU GDP from 15.2% to 20% by 2020, a conference on Industrial Policy on 6 June 2013 in Brussels, Charlemagne Building, will focus on progress made so far and what urgent further action can bring immediate benefits to help restore industrial growth.

The Bluhm/Helfand Social Innovation Fellowship @ Chicago Ideas Week recognizes a group of young socially-conscious leaders who have developed sustainable ventures addressing social needs, and provides them with exposure to nationally recognized business and community leaders, funding to support their cause, and a platform for growth.

The Fellowship was created by philanthropist and entrepreneurs Leslie Bluhm and David Helfand to help advance the next generation of social innovators, entrepreneurs, and change agents.

Startup Live Athens is a three-day entrepreneurship event, which is organized for the third time in a row on June 7th to 9th, and will be hosted at the ALBA Graduate Business School, at the American College of Greece. Mature ideas at the stage of development or implementation, come in to complete a team and, with the advice and guidance of experienced mentors, develop further.

IST College,within its constant effort to actively bring the world of business closer to the world of education, organizes the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition "CRAZY BUSINESS IDEAS" in order to provide young people with the opportunity to bring forth their ideas for a new product or service and transform them into a rigorous business plan.

No tuition fee for SMEs and the European Commission grants 600 EUR scholarships to participants from SMEs.
