According to the analysis of the export statistical data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority (EL.STAT) by the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board (HEPO), Greece’s exports in cotton during 2010 increased by 28% compared to 2009.
Turkey remains, for 2010, the first destination country of Greek exports and represents 60% of the overall exports of this sector, followed by Egypt and Indonesia with 18% and 6.5% share respectively.
