According to the analysis of the export statistical data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority (EL.STAT) by the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board (HEPO), Greece’s exports in fresh or preserved fish (including gilthead breams, sea basses, eels, sharks) in 2010 increased by 10.8% compared to 2009.
Italy remains, for 2010, the first destination country of Greek exports and represents 45% of the overall exports of this sector, followed by Spain and France with 14.2% and 11.5% share respectively.
