Over the past 36 years, the Festival has become a tradition in Jerusalem and the largest tourist attraction of the summer season. An exhibit from Greece will provide an opportunity to introduce visitors to the local arts and crafts.
This year the Festival is held between August 6 and 18, 2012, in the most beautiful spot in Jerusalem, at the foot of the Old city and under the patronage of the Mayor of Jerusalem in cooperation with the Israel Ministry of Tourism and Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs and produced by Ariel Municipal Company Ltd.
Last year 38 countries participated and over 150 of the best of Israel's artists and artisans exhibited and demonstated their creative process in painting, sculpture, metalwork, jewelery, ceramics, fine arts, textiles and weaving, toys, woodwork, leather, applied arts, etc.
Deadline for applications is June 15, 2012.
