John Karatzas was born in Melbourne Australia. He studied Industrial
Design at Swinburne University of Technology where he graduated in
1992. He has worked as a design consultant for a number of
multi-national clients applying his expertise from initial concept
ideas to production.He moved to Greece in 2004 and in 2007 co-founded DKD studio with Petros Dimopoulos.They place themselves with sensitivity in each clients’ DNA in order to focus on unique design directions. DKD’s work spans from identity, packaging design, literature, retail design, and product design.
Their aim is to produce functional, innovative and exciting work.
